Disposal and Recycling Information

Waste Management (WM) is currently the preferred hauler for Ann Arbor Charter Township.

WM picks up trash, recycling, and seasonal yard waste. Residents can sign up for WM service on WM.com or by calling (866) 797-9018.

A preferred hauler contract typically provides residents with the most cost-effective service, but Township residents are free to contract directly with the hauler of their choice.

View the WM Collection Service Guide (PDF) for more details about the service.

Please note: Certain neighborhoods and complexes, e.g. The Arbors, Laurel Gardens and The Haven (formerly Village Green), have other waste and recycling arrangements.
